Talk to someone

These independent services help people affected by gambling, including friends and family. Choose the resource for your location.

Need a break?

Ask your gambling operator about account limits, time-outs and self-exclusion. SmirkHouse is a game studio; these controls are managed through the operator where you play, not through this website.

Read GamCare’s guidance on safer gambling and self-exclusion (opens in a new tab).

Set your limits

  • Set a spending and time limit before playing. Only use money you can afford to lose.
  • Take regular breaks. Gambling should not replace work, relationships or other interests.
  • Never borrow money to gamble or chase losses. Gambling is not a way to solve financial problems.
  • If staying within limits feels difficult, stop and reach out to a support service.

For adults only

You must be at least 18 and meet any higher legal gambling age in your location. Follow local law and your operator’s eligibility requirements.

Keep gambling accounts and devices protected from access by children. Never share your account or let someone under the required age play on your behalf.
